Rachel & Michael celebrated their wedding at The Grandview, in our Grand ballroom on October 26th.  There was so much anticipation leading up to their day.  Rachel, and her parents are SUPER organized and detailed.  They thought of every way to enhance their guests experience to reflect the couple and their families.

There was not a dry eye in the house at their outdoor fall ceremony.  With the most elegant backdrop (thank you very much), their gorgeous handmade chuppah tied in the natural elements of the Hudson River Valley.  The little boys in the wedding were just the sweetest, carrying personalized signs to announce the married couple’s fate.  Rachel is just a thoughtful person in general, and a had a pashmina for every lady in the event there was a breeze off the Hudson that afternoon.

As die hard Yankee fans, they incorporated their love of the game into their wedding with a fun yet elegant flare.  Their signature cocktail, the Bronx Bomber, flowed through cocktail hour, which really enhanced some cocktail stations like their slider bar.  Their 7th inning stretch was executed perfectly by MSV, but honestly, everyone was dancing so much, no one really needed a stretch.  The wedding cake, bridal wear, napkins and more, all tied in that famous navy blue New Yorkers know so well.

Honestly, I was sad to see them get married, because come Monday, the planning would be over, and the long talks in my office would be no more.  There are couples and families that you just click with, and this was certainly one of them for me.  I just have the hope that we will be planning their anniversary celebration for years to come.  Congratulations again Rachel & Michael!  We loved celebrating with you.
